The Peninsula
Best for: First-time visitors, walkability
Stay here if you want to walk to the beach, the marina, and dinner without driving. Hotels range from mid-range to high-end with sea views.
Playa Mansa & Roosevelt
Best for: Families, quieter stays
The avenue running west of the peninsula. Calm water, easier parking, and bigger hotels with pools. A short ride from the marina.
La Barra
Best for: Design lovers, nightlife
Small boutique stays and short-term rentals just east of the bridge. Walkable to galleries and beach clubs. Loud in peak January.
Manantiales
Best for: Couples, slow weeks
Quieter than La Barra, with a strong food scene. Boutique hotels and well-designed houses for rent.

The most polished and pricey area. Small luxury hotels and seasonal rentals near the lighthouse.
